i need ideas for high school chemistry extra credit

It needs to be something they can complete in one or two days, and i want something that will minimize cheating/copying among them.

I've been trying to think of something interesting that they will learn from as well. Im trying to stay away from reports and papers. One idea is something my old high school teacher assigned. It involves each student doing a presentation on a different element. But i want to save that for an actual project and not EC.
So i've hit a roadblock...

All ideas are welcomed.

extra cred shouldnt be easy to do IMO, thats why its extra. something to get them interested would be to have them do a project on the thing they find most interesting about chemistry. if its the uranium 238 (? its been a while) reaction in an H bomb or burning food to find how many calories are in it or whatever. if you let them pick it and give them a few options that are actually fun ya might get through to one or two of em. just a thought

thanks for the input
not exactly what i was asking for, but constructive nonetheless

if you have a few sets of those molecule building sets...
we used to have contests to build complex molecules....

the teacher would draw a lewis structure of some complex molecule we've never seen b4, and we had to build it the fastest.
points for just assembling the molecule correctly... more points for being the fastest...
