I got a disk from a buddy with his resume on it written with Microsoft Works. Is there anyone here that will let me e-mail it to you and then transfer it into Microsoft Word that comes with Windows and e-mail it back to me.I would really appreciate it if someone could help me:cool:

Open it with Word. It will tell you that you need a plugin to convert. Put your Word disk in and voila.

i don't recall msworK being able to write resumes ... but then again, i've only used it once
anyways, you want to "translate" the file to ms-word? and you said you don't have msword, so how are you going to open it later?

in any case, you got pm ... let's hope Bglad's method works :)

Wordpad (not Word) is what comes with Windows.

Wordpad saves files in an older version of MS Word.

I am clueless on this issue as I have never had works either. But my first attempt to open this file would be to right click one the file and choose OPEN WITH perhaps is will open with word pad..
