Ok, this morning, Comcast did their switch for the internet service in my area.
when I turned on the comps. I could connect to the internet fine, but now my home network is hosed??? If I shutdown both computers,
turn off the cable modem, and boot up, then I am fine on the home network again ????
Setup:
Two computers (windows XP pro)
NIC from each computer goes to the hub and upload port of the hub is the cable modem input.
TCP/IP set for automatic detection of IP address and DNS server (same as always before)
NIC configured for: Client for Microsoft networks, File and Printer sharing, and TCP/IP
Any ideas what I should try to get both my home network and the internet working again?
(I have run this setup for nearly a year and a half with no probs... only change is the Comcast service switch)
Thanks in advance!
