You reminded me of a strange kid I knew when I was like 10 who shall remain nameless.
He once told me he liked to take off his shoes and jump in piles of fresh horse manure... had to be fresh he liked it warm between his wiggling toes! Claimed it calmed him down or something along those lines.
I wonder if this could help Mayne ??
