ok i was just wonder if

just trying to make it faster without buying a new computer
 
If it's socket am2, it should work fine. I would download cpu-z and check the motherboard specs. If you can get a model number, you might find it on the manufacturer's website. The cpu may post as "unknown" but should run fine at full speed. But don't get the black edition, which has an unlocked multiplier. It might have problems with an oem board with few bios adjustments.
 
So far, it appears that your T6216 has a socket 939 CPU. You linked to an AM2 CPU. will not work.
Now, as far as the NForce 410 chipset and it's support for higher spec CPU's (dual core 939 chips), I am unsure.
I'll do a bit more searching, but at the very least (if your mobo supports it at all) you'll need a bios upgrade for your system to recognize a 939 X2 CPU.

Newegg has the san diego 4000 for around $40 plus shipping, last time I checked. It should work fine on your board, but it's only a single core. It runs at 2.4 gigahertz.

If MSI MS-7093 looks like your motherboard I would suggest buying a new PCIe video card if you are the gaming type***

You may then move the video card to your new computer

*** Please be advised that a new power supply unit for around $40 is highly recommended which may also be moved to your new machine.
 
yeah i already bought a video card and bought a 500w psu
i was just checking if i could do anything else instead of getting a new computer
