I need help with Warcraft 3... anyone know how to open a port on a router?

My router doubles as a firewall and I need to open a port on it so I can play warcraft 3 on Battle.net

however, I don't have the slightest clue as to how to do it.

I have a Netgear MR314

I'd post this in a tech forum, but I ran into the problem like 5 seconds ago and the quickest answer is probably in the OT Forum...

i am using a linksys router and can play on games fine through the firewall, but if i want to host a game i have to forward a port to my computer.

now i'm not to familar with the netgear routers but on a linksys you just open a web page with the routers NAT ip address.

1. try typing this into a web page: "192.168.1.1" or try typing your default gateway into the address bar.
your password is probably "admin".

2. goto netgear's website and look for a how-to.

what OS do you have
