Ok, so I did the MadShrimps hardmod on my X800Pro. Upon inspecting the GPU, I indeed have an XT core (there is a .1 at the end of the revision number). The card is 100% stable at 520/560, and the BIOS flash to the XT BIOS works fine.
I connected the bridge that is factory-cut using a pencil, then I went over it with conductive paint just to be safe.
What I didn't do was to scrape the top of the GPU a bit as some people reccomend; I could see the copper connects just fine so I figured I would get a good connection.
So: Should I scrape the GPU a bit and try again? What did I do wrong? I reinstalled the drivers, and ATI Tool is saying I still only have 12 pipelines.
