I have just installed a Inno 3D Tornado GeForce2 Mx Videocard with Twinview and I am not very happy with the display on my 32" Jvc TV. Besides the image quality issue, I also have diagonal lines running through the display that I can't seem to remove. Has anyone else run into these problems with a card with TwinView? I have yet to try it on another Tv.:(

I've got the same or similar problem with an ASUS V7100/T GeForce2 MX when hooked up to a Panasonic 32" TV. Makes no difference whether I use SVHS or RCA hookups. Either way the picture is fuzzy and text is unlegible. DVD playback is mediocre at best. There is also a black border around the picture. Latest Nvidia driver 4.12.01.0631 installed.

I've heard that TV Tool can fix the border problem. Does anyone know if it works with this card and if it would clear up the picture? If not, what will (besides getting a new card...)?

I've got a friend that's having the same problems with the video output. If anyone else has tested the video, could you let me know if your video is distorted or blurred?

I've got the LeadTek GeForce II MX Pro DH+ TV 32MB 166MHZ / 175 Graphic CPU
System hangs when selecting TwinView extended or clone display. Wish to connect a VGA type monitor. W98SE OS. I updated intel inf(, software. The manual has no information about this. Previously (old s/w and drivers) could select, but no video would display. updated to 4.12.01.0648 video drivers.

I haven't tried composite video. But now that the software will nolonger change to twinview, I'm stuck there. Any ideas??

Also looking for a way to tell W98 that there is a second display. The HP C1097A Does show a picture on the primary video, but I think it needs to be told non-interlaced. I am trying with the secondary as a 15" SVGA for now.

athoennes,
how has the Leadtek card been doing?? I hear many good things about it, except for the Twinview - do you know if NVIDIA is working on the drivers for that?? Have you checked out or seen reviews for the Gainward Cardexpert GeForce 2 MX TwinView? It's basically the same type of card as the Leadtek - two vga and one s-video... except it has 5.5ns sdram onboard - do you think that makes much of a difference?

I like the card. I didn't get it to be ultra fast. It is much faster than my old system. I was looking for a value in a card and dual head was also affordable. The faster memory should give you better performance when you overclock the board. You can play with overclocking if you like. My board performs fine, I don't play games, so it isn't that important to me as yet.

Leadtek support told me to use:
This is the link for driver 6.49 see if this helps. also make sure you have
AGP fastwrite is disabled.
ftp://ftp1.leadtek.com/usa/nvidia/649-w9x.zip

As you can see the solution is not all that confident.
I haven't had time to install the new driver yet.

Also the HP C-1097 I'm using may need a little more modification to accept the video siginal. Also if I reboot Windows seems to for get which monitor is connected and reverts to a monitor that doesn't accept the correct signal. But this is not directly related to the dual head problem.

I've got an Asus V7100 and I have no problem with TwinView loading but i'm running it on an old Hitachi 20" TV and it looks quite blurry. I also have to have my screen settings set to 800x600 otherwise I can't fit it all on the TV. I use TwinView right now mostly for Winamp visualizations and playing music videos while i'm doing work. Music videos look quite nice when played on the TV through TwinView :D

I talked with a tech at evga and he said that you can have a twin view in the agp slot, and another pci card. Win 98 should support it. I haven't tried it yet. Anyone have any experience with the evga DH Pro?

NVidia Driver 6.49 works with the dual displays. 7.52 does not. I tried clone and extended. At least the display works and I am able to select resolutions and refresh rates such that the monitor functions properly.

Applications (Media Player) get confused when switching to full screen.

TV displays don't work well with computer text. Try standing 3-4 feet from the TV. This is likely where the picture will look the best.
