I need help with CD-R and CD-RW.

My burner is 32x10x40x
What speed CD-R and CD-RW do i buy? I got some tonight, but I don't know if i got the right kind
this is what i bought
CD-RW 1x-4x CD-R up to 40x compatible

should I have bought 32x? I don't want to open them up before I know if I can use them.

Both of those media should work with your burner, the cd-rw discs will only write at a maximum of 4x, even though your burner is rated to 10x (they *may* burn faster depending on their quality) your cd-r's are fine, if you are worried about it, simply get media that is rated at an equal or faster speed than your burner. The way you read burner speeds is (going across) cd-r speed-cd-rw speed - read speed.
