I need help removing Klez worm from my work puter!

i downloaded the fix from norton.com. it seems to be working well. but there was one problem. it said it could not delete one file and that i would have to manually delete it.

c:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\Winkqhi.exe is the file that I can't delete.

I'm running WindowsME on this puter. How would I go about deleting that file???

Norton's fix is a wimpy POS. The virus comes back on about 50% of infected systems.

Get Trend Micro's fix. It is FAR more powerful, and actually works - plus you don't have to boot in to Safe Mode to use it. Make sure you grab the latest pattern from their site also, as the fix requires it as part of the process.

try in safe mode, also for ME, there is this option that u have to disable before u can run a scan. sorry, but i dont remember what
