I know the BEST way to relax,:) but unfortunately I don't have time for that. Even for a do-it-yourself job.

What are some good ways to relax and focus when you are completely burned out? A break is not an option.

The Texas Bar Exam starts tomorrow... and I'm just feeling kinda ... frazzled and burnt.

If you had time to type this message, you had time to off a few kittens. ;)

Seriously, a quick jaunt outside for 5 min of sun and some fresh air will do wonders. If you don't even have 5 min, then you're pretty much SOL besides closing your eyes and meditating for a minute or so every half hour.

Good luck on the Bar!! :)

- Classical music works wonders for some people.
- I burn incense or scented oil when I study. Usually it's Nag Champa but if it's too strong I'll switch to Hawaiian Plumeria or mint.
- Pay someone to give you a backrub while you're working. That's the best. :D

Yeah, that always works, although I wouldn't necessarily recommend that if you're studying for an exam. Good way to FORGET things :)

Edit: I'd recommend looking into binaural beats. BWGen

Doesn't work for everyone.
Some people it doesn't affect at all, it causes others to feel ill.. Personally I get giddy for about 15 minutes then I'm normal again. IMO? Relaxation factor = Zero.

I'll keep my meditation, thank you. Cheaper and less messy anyhow.

I've found that fairly large doses of Actifed (antihistamine) will relax me, and it will actually make me smarter. (Fairly large as in 3-4 tablets at once)

as previously posted, i like classical music. Backrubs are ALWAYS nice, but not exactly the easiest thing to ask from a friend. J'ing O may be in your best interest....
