Okay. I ordered something from newegg. But, I shipped it to the wrong address! I shipped it to my dorm in Berkeley CA on accident! It has already left the fedex sort facility :(. Is there anything I can do now besides wait til I get to Berkeley? I'd rather not wait...

I can't seem to find any info on the fedex website and calling hasn't really produced anything. I don't think any of the problems FedEx expects involves picking the right address...

*EDIT*:
I called FedEx and they said I'd have to call newegg to rearrange the reroute.
Then I called newegg and they said they wouldn't do the reroute.

*UPDATE*
YES! I called fedex again. They said they could "hold" the package in a location closer to me and then I could pick it up. Phew! (they do this automatically right? No chance it'll stay in Berkeley?)

Thanks everybody

You can call Fedex. They will allow a recipient to redirect a package. I found this once on their website.

Try to contact Fedex to reroute to your home. It might cost you though.

I called fedex. They said they couldn't reroute. I'd have to call newegg. However, I saw on newegg that they won't reroute.. ie:

NewEgg.com will not request that a package be re-routed to another location once in transit to the shipping address requested on the original order.

It's possible that there may be a miscommunication and it goes to Berkley anyway, but hopefully that won't happen.:)

I was very traumatized! Give me a break!

There. Now that I've somewhat regained my composure...
