i need more ram cuz my computer is a POS for running World of warcraft. anyways, i'm using an MSI Intel 845G mobo, with Corsair PC2700 512 ram, and a Nvidia Geforce 4 TI 4400.

I've been told that i should upgrade to 1gig of ram. Can anyone tell me a good place to buy a 512mb stick of PC2700 ram? I looked at pricewatch, but i wasn't sure which one to buy cuz i heard some mobos weren't compatible with some PC2700 ram while other brands were. Please help me find ram that will be compatible with my system.

this will work well. it'll clock down to ddr333 (pc2700) level. but i have a hunch that i has more to do with your video card. i'm not 100% on it because i dont know how fast your CPU is either but as far as i remember WOW has a pretty complex 3D engine.

Just get PC3200.. it costs the same, it's backwards compatible, and you can use it if you upgrade in the future. What CPU do you have? WoW definatly likes to have a gig of ram. Just get some PC3200 corsair value select and you'll be god to go.
