Cruise Control.

I had a problem speeding awhile ago. I was used to going ~50 in a 40 MPH zone (If you go up to 10 over you are safe a cop told me once for that particular road). Awhile ago I must have had ADHD, ADD, or Im just retarded, I wasn't paying attention and would find myself going over 50 and 55. Then one day I got a warning for going 52... which then caused me to pay attention to my speed. One way which helped me was using cruise control. I would set the cruise for 48 or 49 (if I was in a hurry, usually 45 on normal days), and I just wouldn't worry about my speed, and I haven't been stopped since. Cruise also saves on gas by keeping the engine at low RPMs.

Sorry about the poor english, I'm kinda tired =(

This is just me now..im trying to use cruise control as a habbit now..
it's good..it's controls the speed for you..you don't have to worry about speeding or anything............ i hate paying tickets.....

I was the same way before I got a ticket. Tried convincing myself to slow down and it never worked out for long. In fact, the first ticket I was forcing myself to drive normal when I got behind a rolling road block going slower than the limit. That went on for about 2-3miles and finally one turned off, so, I passed the other before they had a chance to sync up with another partner.

Well, back then (17) I didn't know to check for why they may be going super slow, and apparently there was a speed trap ahead--motorcycle cop in median. I got nabbed.

I got a few other minor tickets a few years later and that (=$) and age/maturity changed my habits (mostly).
