I was looking at the Taisol CGK760092(can someone tell me what the 760092A is), as well as the Switech 370(only I was looking at the one from KDcomputers), the Glaciator, and the Switech MC462. I thought the switech 370 was better then the Taisol, but in the reviews I have seen the taisol is better, so that narrows it down to three. I kinda need it quick and I think there is a waiting list for the Glaciator so that narrows it down to 2. Any suggestions other then what i have.

get the taisol. Its a good cooler, and will be made a lot better if you buy a bigger fan and put it on it.

Platinum Gold, i will look into it, but generally the all copper coolers aren't worth the price since the ones with a copper base perform better or on par with the more expensive all copper ones. But I will look at it, since the Glaciator is all copper and seems to do okay. Just checked a review of the SK6 and it doesn't even come close to the performance of the CAK38.

TruculentTucan, that is the way i am leaning, since i figured with the price of CPU's right now, with the 40.00 bucks I save on the taisol over the switech I can prolly buy a faster processer then what the switech would have allowed me to take my other proc.

I'm actually making the same choice for my system.. I decided to wait a bit until the new Copper Glaciators start to ship and get more reviews.

Just keep in mind that a 1.0@1.33 gives out the same amount of heat as a 1.33@1.33. Granted, the Taisol of 370 will be just fine, but if you want to overclock further than it will take you, it's going to be a bookend in the long run. If you can afford it, everyone says to go with the MC-462A or wait for the Glaciator.

Well I need to get this soon, so the glaciator is prolly not an option right now, since no reviews and it takes a while to ship. The taisol is easily found for under 40.00, the Switech can be found for around 80.00. My question is, will the Switech allow me to overclock a CPU 300Mhz more then the Taisol? I don't think it will, and if it doesn't then getting it is pointless, since you can save the extra 40.00 and put it towards a 300Mhz faster processor. That sounds confusing, i hope you can all understand what i mean. I really like the looks of both the sinks, though.

My thinking is this.

Anyone who is seriously considering a Swiftec 462 for $80+ might as well pony up the extra $40 or so and get a full water cooler kit. For the investment, you're much more likely to reap greater performance benefits than with any HSF combo.

Well I am too afraid of water leaking all over my computer and then be out a lot of money. I have considered using Freon though, but I am not looking to invest the time in it right now. Nor do I have a case big enough to accomodate it.

the cgk760092A is just the cgk760092 with a delta 38cfm. you can easily mod the cgk760092 and put an 80mm, 2900rpm, 41cfm fan on it.

Two questions, what do you need to do to add an 80mm to the tasiol? And second would that really help. I mean I know there will be mroe airflow, but there will also be a bigger deadspot right over the core, which is bad. I have 2 little 50 or 40mm fans on my taisol 740 right now and they are doing better then the stock fan did.
