EDIT: I tried connecting
MIC to the MIC_In pin,
MIC_Bias to the +5V pin,
AUD_GND to the GND pin,
but it doesn't work, although plugging the MIC directly to the back 'pink' plug does work.

I have an Antec Sonota case with an Epox 8RDA+ mainboard.
I want to use the microphone outlet on the front panel.
Here's the pin labels on the epox:
Now, the Sonota has a front panel audio cable with a plug that provides a 2x5 pin matrix that also has some single pin sockets coming out of the back of the 2x5 plug. The single pin sockets are labeled as follows:
FPout - L
FPout - R
RET-L
RET-R
MIC
MIC BIAS
AUD GND
What I'd like to do is use the microphone only in the front panel.
I'd like the option of using the speakers in the back panel, but here's what I have.
I have two separate speaker sets; the old one has just 2-speakers and the new one has 2-speakers with a subwoofer. I would like to use all the speakers and the microphone for gaming UT2004 as the new games have voice.
Please help me decrypt these instructions.
Also, here's another quote from the Epox's User's Manual:
Thanks in advance.

In 2-Channel audio mode, Mic-In is shared for both front panel and rear panel.
In 6-Channel audio mode, the Mic-In is dedicated for front panel used, and rear panel Mic-In function will switch to Center and subwoofer support.

Front Panel Audio Connector
When the jumpers are removed and this connector is used for front panel audio.
The type of front panel line-out phone jack is normal close. Without phone plug inserted, the rear panel audio is enabled. With phone plug inserted, the rear panel audio is disabled.
Thanks in advance.
