Every year we have a costume party for Halloween here at work. I usually don't dress up as anything, but I think I want to this year. There will be judging for the best costume(s) as well, and I wanna win. What can I do that is cheap and/or easy to make?

Ok, you can't steal my idea if you are anywhere in Central Florida. Me and my buddies are going to dress up like the alltell commercial guys. Blue polo for alltel and then the other color polos for the rest of the guys. Think about it man, its the most comfortable costume at the party and everyone knows who you are as long as were all going to the same places.

Dug's Moustache thread got me thinking of some kind of olde-timey guy with a handlebar mustache. You could get like a long tailed jacket, top hate, cane... it'd be sweet

I remember many years ago people tried to appear frightening for halloween. Aside from the Steve-O one, these are all pretty ghey suggestions, or maybe the other way around.

Mr. Potato Head

get a brown union suit (one piece long undewear). it has to have the ass flap in the back. fill said ass flap with some masks; long white gloves to finish off the look.

I did the lego guy last year and got lots of compliments

Relatively cheap, I think I spent $16 dollars total. Already had the jumpsuit though.

Edit: Someone posted these directions in the forum, I didn't follow them exactly but I think they suffice as guidelines. Link
