I need fax recommendations.

My mom needs a new fax, and I need your input. She's looking for something in the $200-300 range, has a high send and recieve capacity (e.g. Can put 60 pages at a time in the auto-feeder and can get at least 500 pages from the ink or toner cartridge), and good image quality. I heard Canon faxes were good but the big stores around here don't carry them. Also, any reviews of faxes would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
 
It might be a little out of your price range, but look at an HP 5150. It's a multifunction copier/fax/printer. It goes for about $450. You can get about 2500 pages out of a toner and it'll do 6 pagers per minute.

The reason that I bring up this model is because my company is looking at buying this exact model.

Another nice thing about this particular fax is that it allows you to cue up a fax to go out while it is receiving one. Many other fax machines only allow a fax to come in or go out at any given time. This one is multitasking. It's very useful if you you have a very high fax input/output.
 
My mom has looked at several all-in-one machines but isn't to interested in them since we already have a good printer and it is, as you stated, rather pricey. That multitasking thingie did interest her though.
