So we've been working on this little project over spring break called INeedCurrency in hopes that people would send us some money for no reason. Tell me what you guys think and what we could do to improve... if you have any ideas on how we could turn this into something that would actually have some point to it, please share. We may even cut you a piece of the pie.

after one minute of thought after my last post, you should at least put up a section showing what your purchases are.

Yeah we thought about that. But with the site getting low publicity, and basically no money.. We can't purchase anything. We were going to do that. We still might.

A good way to make money is by getting a job. Maybe if you spent less time on that stupid website and more time filling out job applications and actually working, you'd have some money to spend.

Begging for money alone seems pretty boring. Everyone begs for money, so you need incentive.

How about instead of just begging for money, you also include a donation goal. Since you're starting out, we'll start small, say a donation goal of $5. First Pick 5 potential $5 purchases (go ahead pick whatever you want). Then create a poll to let potential donors or the general public vote on what they would want you to buy if you actually received $5 dollars. (you probably want to decide on a time limit too, 1 month maybe)

If you meet your goal of $5 you MUST purchase what the donors or public have chosen. If not, you get to keep the money and do whatever you want with it. Regardless you must post pics.

Afterwards, increase the donation goal, refresh purchases accordingly, rinse and repeat.

EDIT: If you do this, i want MY cut!!! Unless you end up having to buy some worthless items.
