I need Christmas gift idea for Mom

What would you give your Mom for Christmas? I was thinking about the 3D laser crystals but then I realized I'm too poor to afford a customized one. I may just get a stock crystal. Carved candles are also cool. I'm open to any ideas. I'm just afraid I pick out presents because I like them and not necesarily what the recipient would like.

Yeah, moms always want laser crystals..lol

Get her something like a 1 day spa treatment with massage, manicure, pedicure, etc. Every woman likes that.

Seriously? A laser etched, mass produced dust collector?

Get her something she can actually use.
Do you really want her to see a laser etched reminder of how lame her son is?

I recommend a jewelry box, pajamas, robe, lotions, etc.

A wise men once said to me - "why are you spending money on diamonds, women like handbags more than anything"... He was a jeweler! I still thing jewelery is a wiser investment, but a nice bag is always appreciated.

What's your budget?

My mom has severe arthritis so I got her arthritis relief stuff - special gloves, etc. Small stuff like that would be appreciated more by my mom than expensive do dads. I got my mom-in-law a wd live, and I plan on remote accessing her Mac to add content as well. I'm not sure how that one will play out because I haven't seen the interface - hope it's easy to use!

I usually get my Mom something gardening-related, and a sweater or something like that. She loves personal gifts.... you really can't go wrong buying for your Mom... Moms love everything 🙂

Yeh, those ideas suck.

Earrings are always welcome. (if she has her ears pierced). Don't buy cheapos though. Get some sterling silver or 14K gold. They don't have to break the bank. Look for them at JCPenney, Kohls, etc... don't go to a jewelry store to buy them.

Clothes are always nice too. Maybe have a female friend help you with that one.

i got my Mom a super snuggly blanket a few years ago and she still frickin loves it. 🙂 it wasn't a cheap blanket, but it is made of 100% pure snuggle 🙂

My Mom pretty much has all that stuff you guys mentioned... this is why I'm thinking laser crystals. She doesn't have that.

In past years, I've gotten my mom:

Reed diffuser (bamboo sticks with scented oil in a jar)
Comfy socks
Slippers
Pedicure/Manicure

This year, I got her a silicone whisk and flipper (her old ones broke). Maybe some music for her commute. I think I'll also check out of the Ten Thousand Villages shops here also, to see about something unique and handmade.

www.ineedahandjob.com And before the mods chime in, it is a real product and the site is SFW.

A copy of Life magazine from the week she was born, and some books featuring the pop culture of that period. Add some music and videos, and it would be a pretty good present.
