Well, I thought I'd add my two cents too.

Personally, I don't really care for piercings, not my cup of tea. Strictly my opinion. Its none of my business whether or not an individual, male or female, wants to get a piercing.

Unless the individual is the guy I used to work with at McDonald's several years back who got his wang pierced and banged it against the counter while customers were standing next to him . . .

Depends how it looks, show a pic or describe what you put in the piercings. I think it should be ok, I just don't like those fvckin gigantic fish hooks or hoop earings.

I like piercings. I think that women -most of them, can make them look pretty sexy. My gf has her belly button, ear lobes and cartilage pierced. Personally, I've got my eyebrow and the cartilage on the back of my left ear pierced. And yeah, I do look respectable. I'm management at a grocery store in SmallTown, OK.

Depends. Belly-buttons can look good, as can noses, but it just depends. Ears are really all I usually like though.

As for my opinion on nose piercings, I agree with your pal. There's nothing worse that a girl could do for herself in my opinion.

What do you think it does to your chances of getting a job in corporate America? Do you really think it won't matter? Then again, you seem sports oriented, so maybe that's where you see yourself in 5 years.

I think piercings anywhere on the face are a distraction from what otherwise would be a beautiful/handsome face.

The point of ear piercings is to compliment the face. But when I'm talking to someone, a piercing in the nose, lip, or eyebrow, pulls my eyes away from the converstation - so then I'm struggling the whole time trying NOT to look at it, because I'm sure they don't like people starting at it.

Belly button piercing = okay, that doesn't bother me. Tongue piercing = not really sure, I don't mind it, but I find it is kind of pointless until you use for something other than eating or talking.

I have dated women with nose piercings, tongue piercings, nipple piercings, tattoos in the bikini area, and "other" piercings. Not all at the same time, but varying combinations.
