I'm not a religious man, but I have been praying all week.

My g/f's mom has liver cancer, and she had surgery last Thur to get it removed.

Her recovery isn't going so well right now...

She's 100% relying on a respirator, and she has gone into slight kidney failure. The nurses and doctors do not know what is going on...

I don't konw what to do, but I am trying my hardest to be strong.

I've known my g/f since middle school and we've been together since high school...

agh. I'm so scared.

**update**
she passed away tonite. the doctors told my g/f to call all her family and go to the hospital.

her blood pressure and vitals slowly detoriated....until she was gone.

R.I.P.

I have never been more scared than ever.

I've been following her (deteriorating :( ) progress on your xanga, Rufio... this must be so hard for your g/f, she's so young and cancer is such a sickening disease. :( My thoughts are with her, best wishes.

best wishes man, my good friends grandmother died last week from liver cancer, and my grandmother died last year also.

our prayers are with you through these hard times.

As an ICU RN, you have my prayers....I see many families struggling to deal with uncertainty all the time and it sucks...

Wow, sorry to hear about that Rufio.

I wish you and your GF luck. She is going to need you to be by her side more than ever right now, be sure to comfort her the best you can.

this is so surreal.

we went to pick a casket. now we are going to pick the last outfit she will wear for her funeral.
