Try Gnomoria. I played well over a hundred hours before I got bored with it.

It is similar to Dwarf Fortress, although not as complex. Mining uses the exact same mechanics that Dungeon Keeper used.

Is this WFTO an online game where you raid other people's dungeons and they can raid yours? If so, it's basically nothing more than a clone of Clash of Clans or Dungeon Keeper Mobile. Wonder if it will be F2P/P2W or what?

It is very much like Dungeon Keeper.

Story-driven singleplayer core game. Multiplayer support there for online Vs. play.

So it's most certainly not like one of those poorly made, typically Facebook associated games.
