I need an entry level IT Job, any suggestions?

What I would love is getting into a company's IT department and overseeing a certain number of users, fixing whatever problems come up, etc. Help Desk support wouldn't be too bad either if the pay was right.

Does anyone have any tips for me or any place I should be looking specifically?

Edit: Oh and I'm ready to relocate almost anywhere in the USA.

I couldn't imagine being a plumber... not only do you have to deal with angry people (who wouldn't be, if they weren't able to use their toilet for an extended period of time), but they've also gotta deal with some of the nastiest stuff evar.

I agree with the others, college will start you out down a better road.

Most IT entry level jobs want someone with a Computer Science degree or at least in college for that.
While in college you can get an intership doing low entry level and when you get out of college you can get a better job.

That ain't true at all. And a person with a MCSE even if its paper is leaps and bounds ahead of someone with just an A+. Level 1 support is easily attainable with an A+. And if you want to get into admin you'll need a higher level cert or a college degree.

Having a college degree helps a lot most of the time. When an employer is looking at resumes part of that process often involves throwing out those without a degree.
Go to school, it's the best investment you can make (if you actually take it seriously).
