Where do yall get your short term web developers from?

I have a wordpress blog that I want a certain modification installed on.

The mod is called Infinite Scroll, its like what slashdot and boingboing.net uses to load more articles when you reach the bottom of the page.

I don't think most people use a developer to install plugins in Wordpress. It's usually pretty easy. That said, if you really don't want to touch it Google around, there are a number of consulting companies out there that specialize in Wordpress customization. However, for such a small update you might find it hard to get their attention.

How did you get wordpress set up? That process is harder than installing a mod.

The mod calls on a javascript and CSS functions for it to work. The directions are vague. One site says to add something to the functions.php file, another site says to init some code, but does not say how to init the code.

My wordpress blog is 4 years old, and this is the first time I have needed any help.

Is your wordpress blog installation up to date? Because installing a mod is as easy as clicking the activate button after your admin portal downloads it.

Yes.

Because installing a mod is as easy as clicking the activate button after your admin portal downloads it.

The mod is not that easy to install.

Like I said, the mod calls certain CSS funstions for it to work. Since every CSS is different, the mod needs certain code entered by hand for it to work.

The modification is supposed to work with the default wordpress themes, but it is not working with them either.

Since its so easy, why dont you do it for me?

Eh, time's up TH - I got stuff I need to do.

Thank you anyway,

This is what the settings of the plugin are asking for

Preset/Theme Name
Content Selector Post Selector
Navigation Selector
Previous Posts Selector

I have to enter those for the theme I am using.

I've used elance.com recently. I liked it.

Used freelancer.com in the past - worked well too.

Guru.com and odesk are options as well, but I think they tend to get larger projects.
