My old (2013) BMW still supports some useful apps through my iphone, but it has to be plugged in via USB to the car. However, the car does not provide enough USB power to charge the phone.
So, I've been switching the cable between the car's usb and when the phone dies the cigarette lighter. Its simple, but an annoying hassle once a week... I forget half the time and end up trying to do it while driving... just a pain.
Couldn't there be a dual usb to single lighting cable? That shouldn't effect anything data and power transmission wise...
