After setting up my new box I have been crusing through the different areas of the OS and came across this. I'm not too savy on the NT kernel so I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. When looking at the Application log in Administrative tools I saw this error repeatedly:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: WinMgmt
Event Category: None
Event ID: 37
Date: 3/5/2001
Time: 9:38:29 PM
User: N/A
Computer: Description:
WMI ADAP was unable to load the w3ctrs.dll performance library due to an unknown problem within the library: 0x0
Obviously a missing .dll file but why? I just installed W2K and the system hasn't had enough app installs to do that much damage. Is this just a missing driver from a non-OS application? How do you track down the owner applications to .dll files?
Thx!
