I vote for sound barriers. Send me a copy of the results as I'm looking to build a studio in my basement :D

I'll take that into consideration.

What about underwater housing? Like that hotel off the coast of Florida.

I did a paper when I was i Architectural Engineering school on Super Structures (Specifically Super Tall buildings 100+ stories) Was VERY interesting and I learned a lot (like plans for a 600 story building) Paper nearly wrote itself.

Received an "A"of course

Another interesting topic is the on-site factory fabrication of buildings. Japanese do it 2 ways....bottom up and top down. Intriguing concepts...

I'd say topics like green architecture, joint-use, or projects that enhance the sense of community would be interesting topics since they seem to be a trend in the coming future. For instance, my firm is working on a project that integrates a HS, Community College, city library and town center all on the same 240 acre plot of land. The idea is that having such a complex will help ease financial burden on the city by sharing resources ( i.e. the HS and the CC share a huge community library instead of the city building 3 smaller ones) and will give an otherwise sprawling suburb a "heart" where people can congregate.

PM me if you'd like some more info :)

That's already out... Someone else seems to be doing that.
