I need a tool to clean the inside of some tubing

Make a pig. Take one of those bottle brushes and cut a couple inches off the tip and use water pressure to force the tip through the tube.

And where does the crap go? You're certainly not going to catch all of it on whatever you're cleaning it out with....some will get shoved out the other end into the block/whatever that end is connected to. I know replacing tubing can be a drag, but new tubing is always the best answer. And since you've already got a template of lengths to cut (your old tubing), it's just cut to size and put the lengths on.

You'll just get better results doing the work.

All that crap is going to go right into the aquarium, which is totally fine.

Just trust me when I say that taking the tubing off is not as simple as it seems. It really is a two hour job. The tubing is not easy to disconnect/connect and its not easy to reach some of the connections.

copper sulfate? I think you gotta be careful with dosage or your fish will go tits up though, and some things can't tolerate it at all iirc.
