Maybe macy's. They should have a tailor on site. Or express but only with a coupon. You might be able to get away without tailoring. They're usually a little more fitted.

I would go with the grey vs the black unless it's for a funeral. I think it's more versatile.

edit: The merona suit from target isn't bad if you just need one relatively quick. Just take it to the tailor and it'll probably cost about 50 bucks to get the neck roll out, sleeves hemmed, tapered, and the pant legs hemmed.

Forget Macy's, their customer service is shit. I needed a suit ready the next day and conceded that they didn't even have to get everything fixed perfectly just have it ready and presentable and they wouldn't do it. Went to Nordstrom's and they took care of me. You're gonna spend some money there, but at least they'll take care of you.

I was able to pick up a 1200 dollar brooks brothers wool suit for 400 last year. It looks pimp.

I bought a suit from them on the way to a wedding. Seriously. Wedding was at 2:30 on saturday and I got to Men's Wearhouse at about 11 and said I need a suit quickly. He asked if that meant for the following week and I said that I was on the way to a wedding and needed one right that instant.

The manager called in a tailor, and I had a tailored suit, cleaned and pressed at about 12:45. I made the wedding by about 10 minutes. I'm not even joking.

+1 for MW.

MW is awesome. NOt only that, but you get free tailoring and repairs for the life of the suit.
