Okay, I'm in the market for a flash drive. It doesn't need to have fancy features, it doesn't even really need to be that small.

My main requirement is that it's sturdy and durable. (USB2 is also required but I think this is pretty much de-facto these days) I want something I can stick on my keychain without worrying about some flimsy plastic hole breaking and me losing all my data.

Suggestions?

I've had one of the Victorinox Swissbit Swiss-Army-knives-with-USB-key for right at 2 years now, and it shows no signs of breaking any time soon. It has a small metal ring that goes through the keyring and then through a fairly stout plastic loop on the knife. The key is actually in the center, so the knife hardware on either side protects it from most forms of damage.

They're not the cheapest things going; mine was a gift.

A keychain is a very tough environment - especially if you wear jeans. Pocket pressure is severe. Why not just put it on a chain around your neck?

Because, no offense to anyone who does so, but I'd look like a total nerd doing it...

Keep the recommendations coming... I like the Swiss Army Knife one. I already have a Swiss Army Knife on my keychain so I could just combine the two devices into one.

From their site:
Cruzer Titanium is virtually indestructible, capable of surviving a force of up to 2000 pounds, simulating abnormal usage conditions. This specification is based on a SanDisk test environment, validated by an independent laboratory. No other claims as to its ability to withstand other destructive forces or abnormal environmental conditions, including but not limited to, extreme temperatures, corrosive ambients, X-Rays or other radiation, etc, are made by this claim.

Abnormal usage conditions. I like it already. :)
