I need a simple wireless solution

I have a Eee PC on the way. This one

And I have no wireless connection at home.
Currently using a 4 port D-Link wired router with one unused port on a DSL connection.
I would like a router or wap. Whichever is easiest to setup.
I have wired RJ-45 jacks in the rooms that can be used or I can replace the current router.
If I replace the current router (which is 4 sheet rock walls away from the main use area but only 30 feet ) I am not sure the signal will reach.

Preferred Option: A solution I can move when needed that uses one of the existing jacks. And if it does not need to be re-setup when powered down that would be a plus.
Secondary Option: Replace existing router. If I can be sure the signal will reach this becomes the preferred option.

If the solution is available from Best Buy that would be a nice! I can use a gift card instead of a credit card.

If anyone has a link to a good wireless security tutorial ...

My wired network ( 2-Linux and 1-Win 2K ) security is rather basic.

Simple setup is nice. Difficult setup is OK as long as I don't have to do it constantly.

I have read other posts that recommend that router. Best Buy does not carry it and Newegg is OOS. I signed up for their auto-notify. I just use a cable for now.

And the link on "Using a Wireless Router as a switch with an Access Point" was helpful.

Thanks

Kwatt, check out the Asus WL-500 G Premium v2. Better hardware and better wireless, though it is more expensive but I think it's worth it. Flash it with DDWRT and you can either use it as an access point or use it as a regular Wireless Router to replace the one you have. DDWRT is better than the dlink you have but if it's not causing any problems for you yet, leave well enough alone and this could atleast be a future router for you?
