i need a recomendation on an intro to comp engineering book

I will start college in the fall and I plan to major on computer engineering. However, i'm not 100% sure of my choice and will like to read a basic book on computer engineering. Something simple that can help me get started, remember i just got out of high school. Any recomendations?

look @ the books that your university uses for the classes you're going to take...just read those....

There's one I think would have been use ful to read...I think after a couple classes it applied to most of us I think it's called "Bend Over and Take It"

Yep. This is pretty much the standard textbook for a LOT of intro classes for comp. eng. I have a copy of it on my bookshelf. (If you want my copy, I'll sell it to you for less than $85 :))

Might as well keep the standard text if you're a CS geek. :p

I wish I hadn't sold off SICP after the first class.
