I need a program to create a CD with a slideshow of images and some music in the background...

One of my clients needs a program that can create a slideshow with background music, and then put the slideshow on a CD to be played on a DVD player... Is there such a program? I would really appreciate your suggestions...
 
I use a program from ANVSOFT called DVD Photo Slideshow Professional. Judging from their website, they have a new version with a slightly different name, Photo DVD Maker, but the screenshots look like what I am using.

Very easy to use, drag and drop your photos in, select an MP3 or WAV soundtrack, select transitions, or let it automatically choose transitions randomly, and it can output to DVD or SVCD.
 
Doesn't windows movie maker has this functionality? That way your client wouldn't need to pay for an extra program, though you may not want that 😛
 
memories2tv is a good one... not sure how much it is selling for now though.

One thing to note... you might as well use DVD's. They do not cost much more and some DVD players won't like the CD's.

That would be perfect. The cheaper the better. Best if free. I will check out Windows Movie Maker.
