I need a prebuilt with X2 inside

No big companies? Like, IBM Dell Gateway HP? My sister is in to that, you know big name stuff.. Hard enough to convince her X2 was better buy than 820D

If it's for gaming, she should recognize Alienware, and Falcon NW has also been in business a long time.

If it's not for gaming, a Dell Hot Deal on an intel is not an awful choice (check GottaDeal for coupons).

Naw she's an industrial designer, fancy term for artist or one that accually make some money😛

Just buy a dell case on ebay and then put ur parts in she wont know the diffrence. and disable the boot screen pic so it does not show up and get reliable parts.

And I know for a fact with ASUS mobos you can change the BIOS bootup pic to any image you want... so for example maybe a DELL logo? =)

HP X2 PCs start at $1,439.00 shipped ($1,239.00 after rebates) with display. Compaq's may be a bit cheaper, depending on the final configuration.

I've heard that Best Buy has an HP with X2 starting today for >$900 after rebate. I'm not a rebate guy or a Best buy guy, so I didn't investigate.

That said, the HP a1230n is an AMD64 single CPU avaliable anywhere for around $700 that should accept the X2 whenever you're ready.

EDIT: I checked. the HP a1250n is a X2 3800+ at Best buy for $899.
