What?s the rule, on what to do with stuff from a previous relationship? Like personal stuff from Ex?s girlfriend, pictures taken during the relationship? I usually just put things away in a box and stuff it in the back of a closet.

Keep them around. I did until I was married. You'll regret losing those memories if you just throw them away after each girlfriend

I still have some pictures of my ex along with every note and letter she ever wrote me... we broke up in Sept. of 2004. It just sits in one of my drawers. I dunno... seems weird throwing it out.

I kind of agree with pictures, I mean I have like 200; maybe I should just keep a few.
A few years back I was pissed about something and shredded a bunch of pictures of friends and stuff, boy do I regret doing that

Think of it like a trip to disney world. You don't keep all the stupid crap that you got, but you keep something to remember it by...unless your trip really sucked and your uncle joey died on space mountain. If your girlfriend kill your uncle joey then you probably don't want to be reminded about all the times you shared. But that's life so maybe you should forgive her since she's still around and your uncle joey can't really do much for you anymore.

Toss them. Everything but the pics I mean. Pictures are nice to have around, but the rest of the stuff is just silly to hold onto it.

I had some stuff around for a while. I kept some stuff.

Its funny reading back on things and realizing how stupid you were sobbing over a stupid girl in the 9th

i don't see what the harm is in keeping old memories. sometimes it's a cathartic experience for people if things ended roughly, but in most cases i don't see why you would throw them out.

Keep it. Years later it's a great way to remember how you spent your life and who you spent it with.

The idea of throwing out every peice of memorabilia that you have regarding someone that was important to you is stupid, IMO. Why throw it out?

Stuff it in a box, put it in a box somewhere you can forgot about for a few years until your head clears. Then look at it and decide if it's worth keeping.

Best 'payback' I ever got during a breakup took 4 years to play itself out. My 'GF' at the time was being a royal pain, and couldn't decide if she wanted me, or her ex BF, and kept bouncing back and forth (chick was hot, so she was worth the anguish).

I helped set up her new waterbed one night, and knowing I about ready to hit the road for good, I decided to have a little fun. I took a big magic marker and wrote ''Spike' was here, and helped break it in' on the bottom panel of the waterbed. Then signed it with a date 3 years later. Dumped her a few months later and forgot about it.

Ran into her 5 years later, after she was married for a year. She had settled down quite a bit and was happy, but she insisted on telling me her new husband found the message after they bought a house and moved the waterbed, and she had a helluva time explaining the message under the bed.

I need to sell that one to a Hollywood screenwriter.

If you do decide to keep this stuff put it in a box and out it away where it will not hurt the feelings or shake the confidence of any new girl that you want to have a relationship.

Most girls don't mind guys keeping stuff from a past relationship, but it is kinda hurtful if he keeps them nearby.

Any type of pyrotechnics will take care of it. However, if you want to go out with a bang, put it all in a pile and then surround it with shaped charges and wrap some det cord around it. It'll all go *POOF*
