Face plate? You mean the plate that fits on the back of the case where the I/O ports are?

You can try what I did 3x already. 2x it worked.

I just contacted their support via email, and ask how much it would cost to purchase a backplate for their motherboards.

Either they will:

1) Ask for your info and send it to you for free (MSI, ASUS both did it)
2) Send you instructions to contact their sales department (Gigabyte)

Can't hurt to try.

this is an Intel mobo, you really think so?

otherwise, I'm just gonna stick with my 865G faceplate, I'm no die hard fan of having a 'perfect' PC machine where the backside isn't perfecto comp, but I'll probably be having a gap where the Intel Extreme 2 graphics vid-15-pin used to sit out of, 'n stuff like that.

plus it sucks that the 865G had gigabit ethernet on select models, and this 865PE from Intel din' have the giga controller.

do you guys know if all 865PE makes are actually voltage adjustable?

your question has been answered:

go to a local PC shop and check out the hundreds they have sitting in a box.

Make a drawing of the one you require and start hunting.

how hard is that?

I had no luck with Intel getting a full-height bracket for my Intel server NIC. Don't sell 'em separately from NICs, can't buy 'em.
