i'm looking to buy a receiver to start up a home theater system. i'm not looking for anything fancy at the moment. i already have some speakers and a sub (it's 5.1), and am looking to pair it up with a nice receiver. i don't want to spend more than $200 shipped however. i'm fine with refurbs, so with that in mind, can some of you home theater gurus recommend a starter receiver that is expandable in the future (i.e. i can start getting nice speakers and a sub when i'm ready to spend the money on that one component at a time - and i can pair it up with this receiver).

i have a 50" samsung DLP that this'll be running with most of the time. the speakers i have right now are rated at 100W @ 8ohms, and the sub is rated at 50W. they're KLH. that's why i need expandability - i'm definitely gonna start upgrading the speakers one at a time.

I have an Onkyo TX-SR502 that I got for around ~$180.00 shipped from JR.com.

I highly recommend it.
