1. What YOUR PC will be used for. Gaming, some video editing and music editing.

2. What YOUR budget is. 1500-1700

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from. USA

4. IF you're buying parts OUTSIDE the US, please post a link to the vendor you'll be buying from.
We can't be expected to scour the internet on your behalf, chasing down deals in your specific country... Again, help us, help YOU.

5. IF YOU have a brand preference. I prefer Intel/ Nvidia.

6. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are. I am planning to use my 4tb HGST HD, 500tb Samsung EVO SSD.

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds. Overclock

8. What resolution, not monitor size, will you be using? 1440p or 4k haven't decided yet.

9. WHEN do you plan to build it? 1-2 months.

10. Do you need to purchase any software to go with the system, such as Windows or Blu Ray playback software? Windows 10

Some things I would like 2 m2 slots on the motherboard with wifi and bluetooth.
A 1tb m2 ssd is a must.
16gb of ram
Cooler Master MasterCase H500 ATX Mid Tower Case is this a good case.
I was looking at this motherboard Gigabyte Intel Z390 AORUS wifi is it good. I like this motherboard because it also has the usb 2.0 for my mouse and keyboard.

Thanks for the reply, it looks good to me.

I should have added I want a fully modular PSU and I need windows 10.

I am open to other Motherboards, I hear the gigabyte has a terrible Bios.

Any other cpu/cooler options maybe with a non-k processor. I am wondering why i need to overclock.

I don't think the 9900 non k is out yet, but the 9700 non k is available. If you don't want to overclock I'd suggest AMD 3700x as you get extra SMT cores compared to the 9700.

In the past assuming you weren’t over clocking, you’d have to mess with the bios on first startup for 10-20 minutes then you’d never mess with it again unless you add more ram then repeat but that’s it

Oh ok thanks I didn't know.

Most people don't pay any attention to its existence as the faster 9900KF has been cheaper than it ($420) for a while now. However, when I went to link to it from Newegg, I noticed the KF price just increased to $480. I imagine the 9900 will get more attention with the current pricing.

I've got 3 Gigabyte boards... granted, they are older socket 1155 boards, but I've never had a problem navigating the BIOS, or, for that matter, OC'ing them. I've found them to be very solid boards... mine are still running 8 years later.

Asus is reputed to have the best bios. The ASUS ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming has all the features I would want. It is just a bit expensive.

The MSI MPG Z390 Gaming PRO Carbon AC also has all the stuff I'd want on a board for less than the Asus.

For a cooler the Dark Rock Slim has very good reviews, I'd probably get that.
