Not exactly a camera, but it does have a lens on it and it may solve the issue:

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I have something to go on now. The LaView cam RossMAN linked might be what I need. How do you like the picture quality in low light?

As far as IR, I'm not going to point it perpendicular to the window's glass, so I don't think reflection is a problem, especially if I press it up against the glass.

My camera touches the window at a 45 degree angle and IR blinds it. I tried every angle. That's why I had to finally mount the IR on the other side of the glass.

On my neighborhood forum the sheeples are panicking due to a suspicious black person and they are all scooping up The Ring. Live streaming to your phone in 1080p 2way audio you can answer your door from outer space. It'll sync up to your existing home automation too. Not sure if it would work with Blue Iris.

Good to know, thanks. I'll definitely explore the separate IR array option.

Some models have an indicator light that's very conspicuous when it's on, and if you tape over the lights, the IR mode won't work, because, you know...

Just put some IR illumination OUTside and cover the emitters on the camera. You could make your own IR floodlight if you want.

It occurs to me that I have both a regular window and then a storm window. They are a couple inches apart so the 2nd window might be what screwed it up. It's been 4 years since I set this up.

Just be careful with IR, it is bad for the eyes, so don't want to go too nuts with that. Idealy you want it coming from an area that someone is not likely to look at directly.
