I was using a sucky worn-down-padding, floopy-back-rest task chair at the office, and I switched it to a chair with slightly better padding but unstable base and broken hydraulics. Grr..

Are there any chairs at office depot / Staples that are particularly good? I'd LOVE to get an Aeron or somethning from Steelcase but I don't want to spend that much.

I don't know if you travel much, but out here in CO there is this small family-owned place called "Mel's Office Supply's." They offer wonderful furniture for those who suffer from back/neck/shoulder/wrist problems, etc. I know the owner and she also gives away gift certificates for massages. Sounds like you should check it out!:D

They do, but it's an outrageous fee if you live outside of CO. I was told, though, that they are thinking of expanding to CA by this summer, or even as late as the end of this year! Good luck in your search!

if you want a really nice leather chair i would recommend buying one from SAMs Club ... i got mine from them its a BASSETT ... it is the best value for its price ... i paid $150 and its more confortable than a recliner. Ive seen many junky chairs for the same price and none of them compare to it ... so check out SAMs they got really good products and deals
