I have a duron @ 850mhz and it gets too hot when i go higher. My addtronics case has no airflow and the powersupply is on top of the cpu. I have to take out all of the cards and the motherboard just to see the cpu. It is not very convienient. I was at 900mhz but the cpu runs around 48-49 so I just backed if off to 850. I guess I need to change my info below.

personally, i don't go much for those expensive cases... if you want good cooling, modding is the best way... so i would just find a good deal on a decent looking case w/ decent layout, granted the power supply is good (most important!), then from there,... break out da tools and MOD... he he

Those cases are far too expensive. You could get 3 good cases for the price of one of those.

All the Tornado is, is a mod to the Enlight Full-ATX Case - I would avoid it at all costs.

I'd go for the Antec SX 830 w/ 300W PSU or Chebro Genie.

I saw SX830 is coming wiht 2fans installed.
Do I need any extra fan for Tbird 1 gig? I won't play any games, but just regular use and occasional video editing.
And is it good for Asus a7v mobo?
Thanks.

Gplracer, what type of Addtronics case do you have? I have a 6890 and it works great. There is plenty of room to get at just about everything in there. The cooling is great also.

I agree with the previous recommendations for the Antex SX830. it comes with a great 300w AMD approved power "smart" supply, and you can even take off the side panel without turning off the computer or removing any screws! You can get it from Onvia.com for $80.47 shipped. definitely worth it.

Because it costs too much and I can do the same job myself with little or no effort - why pay for someone to install/mod fans in a case for you.

Geek by the time you buy the 4 80mm fans and the case then spend the the time cutting the holes remember time is money! you could pay for the case and not have to mess with it......

It's still overpriced, IMHO; the SX830 is a better contructed case with additional fans already installed as well.

Antec :)
