I don't want to go to the store and get check stock because that would cost too much money for just a one time thing....

I also don't want to order checks through my bank because I NEVER write checks, so whats the point? (I just use bil pay always)

Need to link my checking account to ING.

Ideas on how I could get a one time check printed?

Are there services online that would print a check for me with my routing number and acct #?

Don't most banks give you starter checks when you open an account? Don't you still have a few?

i think those are temporary checks, and they won't work when you get your real checks.

Nope. It has to have my routing number and my account # on it.

If i knew someone who had check stock, they could just print me one up. But I don't.

Several banks have had outages in their online bill pay (Washington Mutual currently) so having one box of checks on hand might be worth paying for.

In a related note, is there any dirt cheap/free software for just printing checks? I move so often that buying checks every 12 months is getting annoying.
