They might but they are run locally and if the power goes out in the town the service is vulnerable to going out as well.Most cable companies offer dialup. I think my RR has unlimited, and I know Earthlink has 20 hours a month free if you have high speed cable with them. Cox has various dialup packages depending on which HSI package you have. Might want to look into that if you have high speed at home.
