I bought this mobo: https://www.pcgarage.ro/placi-de-baza/msi/b450-gaming-plus-max/
and this RAM: https://www.pcgarage.ro/memorii/cor...ck-16gb-ddr4-3600mhz-cl18-dual-channel-kit-2/

This is the mobo's specification page: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B450-GAMING-PLUS-MAX/Specification
I am afraid the RAM will not work with the MOBO since the RAM speed isnt in the specification list(even tho it says that it supports up 4000+MHz). My CPU is a Ryzen 5 3600. Should I cancel the command(which is being shipped to me atm) and go with lower freq ram(3466MHz) or will the 3600MHz kit work.

Thank you!

My Asus B450-F ROG STRIX Gaming ATX mobo, only specifies up to 3466 DDR4 speeds too, but I'm using 4x8GB Trident RGB GSkill "for AMD" (18-22-22-xx, 1.35V) 3600 OK.

While there are many memory brand names, the actual modules used are from only one of three manufacturers - Micron, Hynix, and Samsung. Chances are usually good that even if your RAM isn’t on the QVL it will still work since the actual IC is the same as others that are on it.

you also have to set the ram speed in the BIOS, usually under DOCP.
