I currently looking for more grunt out of my AGP setup, I guess I'm getting greedy now.
I recently purchased a Sapphire X1950Pro 512MB AGP and I'm pretty happy with it's performance...but now I'm wondering how much of a bottleneck my A64 is (see sig)...
would it be worth getting a C2D E4300 or E6300 and Asrock 4CoreDual-VSTA?
I'm not really familar with Asrock's products but they seem like the only choice for an AGP/C2D setup....
Are they as solid as Gigabyte boards?, this would have been a no brainer for me if the only Gigabyte board with similar specs, GA-8VT880P Combo, had C2D support.
I normally don't stray to far from Gigabyte products simply because I had such a good experience with them and I still have mobo's and Video cards from them that are nearly 10 years old and still work as good as the day I bought them.
what is the VSTA like as far as overclocking goes?
would my Antec TPII550 still be enougth for the Sapphire and a OC'd C2D?
