It's one of those talking scales. But you can switch that functionality off for silent weighing.

I can't say anything for Etekcity's scales, but I bought some RF remote controlled receptacle switches from them years ago and they worked great. I'm sure they're just slapping their label on Chinese tech they buy in bulk. I just think they actually test stuff before they invest. I hope it works well for you.
 
Get 3 scales, that way you can compare them against each other. If one drifts off more than the other, you send it off to the national institute of measurements to re-calibration.

That said, I have two scales now, so color me confused. 🙂

However, I have double digits thermometers. A few analog, most are digital. What's the temperature? 🙄

If you like doing math, you could always just pay 1 cent at a pharmacy with one of those stand-up scales to get an initial reading. Then simply weigh all of the food/drink you eat....add that to your initial weight, then subtract the weight of your daily urine/feces output. You can usually do all of that on a food scale, which is a few dollars cheaper than a body weight scale.

But then there's your inhalations and exhalations, perspiration too. I have several kitchen scales, I use them several times a day.

I like my new EtekCity EB9380H, seems excellent so far.
 
I you want that type of accuracy you probably need a professional scale, cost a few hundreds I think.

Everything below 100 seems to only focus on app/wifi/speech etc. I guess they all have the same/similar crappy weight sensor.

Remember that no one in customer reviews or in this thread has done proper investigation of accuracy, so you need to judge yourself.

The one I got from Amazon a few months ago gave me two different weights (by about 12oz) this morning. So, does it work? Sort of, but not accurate. I've had to remove the batteries a few times recently to get it to stop being stubborn. Better than my last one, though (analog).

I've been using my scale in the bathroom lately since my doctor; the higi health station at the grocery store is STILL closed. I have no idea what I weigh. I can shift my weight around on the scale, and it changes 5-10 pounds. I also have a hard time seeing that far(really need to get new glasses). I appear to be 207-212#, but who knows?!
