I need 2 Outdoor Satellite Speakers

I currently have a 4.1 BOSE system with four satellite speakers and one sub, all four speakers are located at each corner of the room and point inwards. This room is adjacent to the backyard.

I'm having the backyard redone, which will create a more welcoming backyard patio. I have been looking at adding on two more, outdoor (I live in San Jose, CA. So they wouldn't have to face extreme temperatures, blizzards and tornados or anything) satellite speakers but haven't really paid too much attention to it.

Enough backstory, I'm not on a strict budget, but I'm not an audiophile: I'm looking for the best bang for my buck. Anyone have any recommendations for good outdoor satellite speakers?

I don't know about that. Yeah, Bose speakers are poor buys, but that's no reason to insult you. We've all made some poor buys, and we've certainly all made mistakes that make those poor buys look like nothing (or at least I have, hopefully others have too).

Would outdoor full-range (as close to full range as you can get, I mean) speakers be okay? I ask because I'd think the sub's output (which probably doesn't go all that low anyway, no offense) will probably not be all that audible from outdoors. If so, the Onix Rocket OD100 is supposed to be a good pair of outdoor speakers for the price ($100/pair), and I've heard some good things about the NHT Outdoor 1.

I just looked up the Onix Rocket OD100. They look like good buys.

Is the only place to get them @ AV123.com?

I was going to suggest looking at them too. I'm really liking my Onix rockets.

I bought from AV123 and everything worked out very well.

Plasmadocs might sell onix products too (I'm not totally sure since they've been down for maintenance for months now)

EDIT: if you want to try, you might be able to get them for cheaper in the AV123 classified section... I know there were some deals where they were selling OD100s with some expensive rockets as a bundle for free, so there might be some people that don't really want them soon...

I'm fine buying online, I was just wondering if they were sold at retail outlets (e.g. Fry's, BB, CC, etc.)

If they were available at a retail store, it would be more specialty than the ones you listed.

I don't think they are available in retail stores, but if you send an e-mail to the guys at AV123 they'll be more than willing to help you out with any questions you have.

If you want to hear them before you buy, I'd suggest starting a thread over at the AV123 forum and seeing if there's anyone in your area with them.
I auditioned RS500s and an RSC200 from a guy I met on the forum and yesterday had two guys over that auditioned my set that I got.
