I ne

Buy a gift that creates some social interaction between the 2 of you (eg an interesting book you can both look through while she's in bed, or movie etc). Other then that teddy bears and flowers.

Spend time with her, and be genuinely happy. That's the only thing I'd want if I were bed-ridden.

Oh, and an Audi S4 Avant. 😉

Stuffed animals and flowers are always nice and make me feel better. Maybe you could make a care package with some magazines, crosswords, or something that she can do to keep entertained while she is in bed. Since she is bed ridden I would also suggest that you stop off at a video rental place and rent a couple of dvd's that she would like. Then surprise her with movies and dinner. 🙂

Yeah, why don't you go spend some time with her. That's the BEST idea.

i was planning on that anyways. I wasnt going to throw a teddy bear through the window and speed off.

Teddy bears work wonders.

great start.

Try Build a Bear, they have pretty cool out fits that would make her smile. Do you know her favorite snacks, music, etc

You could make her a care package etc with the bear, snacks, etc.

I just don't want to over do it......i mean its not like we are exclusively with each other. We've been seeing each otehr for about a month though.

In that case maybe just the bear and a small arrangemant of flowers ( maybe something like daisies, they are pretty and inexpensive). I would still suggest maybe stopping somewhere and picking up dinner for her. That way she doesn't have to get up to make herself something later.

For her age try something like People, Cosmo, Vogue. Just avoid the teen magazines and all the Women's weekly magazines, those are geared towards older women.

Sounds like a winner. Do that and then spend a little time with her. I think she will be pleasantly surprised, and you are sure to make her feel much better. 🙂

Chocolate fudge ice cream
Flowers! Flowers! Flowers!

those two will bring her to tears... tears of joy~

if she has to stay at the hospital alot maybe like a psp or a portable dvd player would be a helluva gift so she could watch movies and stuff.. ..kinda pricy tho.

If you do a teddy bear I would make on at those places in the mall.. those work great. Or a vermont bear as those are super nice.

If she is still in the ER a home cooked meal can make things better sometimes cuz she prolly hasnt eaten the best food being there. If you can't cook get your mama or someone elses mama to make you something hearty and filling... ..mmmm mmmmm.

If she doesnt have one maybe an mp3 player or like a portable CD player so she can maybe have something to do when she has to go to the hospital. With that you could include some homeade CD's with some tracks you think she might like.. ya know like happy, upbeat stuff.. .. B-A-NA NA S its bananas.. ..lol

My last idea is art.. ..a big painting / photo of a tropical place or just something pleasant to look at so if she is in pain she can look at it and maybe for a moment it wont hurt as bad. Now you could go for the kill here and do like a scenery photo of her childhood home, or favorite place, a local park, her dog something like that. Have it blown up.. or rasterbate it (you know that one website) and give it to her framed.. that would of all things ive said make her at least smile when she saw it.

great ideas for down the road. i want to keep it simple now. Don't want to come off desperate.
