I miss the Crysis 1 MP experience. What now?

I really enjoyed the Crysis 1 MP experience. More so when they released Crysis Wars.

I loved the open maps, the custom maps, the mods, the graphics, etc. Tanks, Helicopters, etc. It seemed very wide open and free.

The suit features were an added bonus, but I often played maps where suit stuff was disabled anyway.

What's out there today that could provide me a similar experience? The only thing I have on my radar is Arma 3. But I don't get to play much and don't want to waste cash on it if I don't like it. Are the newer COD's any good? I have Battlefield Hardline and I enjoy that MP, but it's not quite the same.

Although it is a totally different league, but you may look into Titan Fall.
And yeah, Crysis Wars was fun (minus the cheaters though).

I agree. I loved Crysis wars - especially once the modders got hold of it and started making all kinds of crazy maps.

Anybody remember the "punch" levels?

I always liked the matches where everybody had the same weapon, and it would change at various time intervals. I also tried to stay on servers where Stealth Mode was disabled.
